Sustenance...just this morning, as I was ministering to my "person in need"...I asked, how am I going to rebuild myself right now...I know, I will go see what gift Rea has posted on her blog...Yup, there it is, the answer to the question, how am I enduring this? Where is this strength coming from? Now, if you could write about finding the doorway out of the suffering...Love, Faith, God, Choice...which one?

When I push send, I have no idea where this is going, or will I ever know of a response...

How many of us have No idea that we can have input into our own prayer life?
Do we even realize that we can change the wording...or better yet, create our own conversation with our God?
Ah, the idea of Choice...what a gift!
Thanks for the inspiring piece.

"This growing lack of intimacy, more than anything else, is the source of Vera's sense of betrayal."
Thank you for this expression!
So many times, those we hold dear, move into a new space...we have no real idea why...could Louise have understood what Vera was experiencing? Could Vera have attempted an explanation?

A terrific perspective on prayer. We do so often just recite the words without thinking or feeling and so many of them are steeped in the issues of the past.

I agree, we are worthy, we are constantly striving to reach the standards of the Lord, but we are human and falter, hence we are broken. I only hope others will read and embrace this message and those of us that do must spread the word!

A belief is just a thought that we continue to think...if we look at what we are thinking, sometimes we have the courage to change our beliefs...and with openness, we can often adapt to a new thought that fits us better, than one that was given to us.
Vera offers us many opportunites to look at what we are believing...openness allows us to enjoy the story and come away with an opportunity to awaken.
